Adam grew up in the north suburbs of Chicago with an ambition of becoming either an astronaut, professional hockey player, or Tom Selleck. Failing all of that, he decided to become an aspiring architect. Adam studies architecture at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln where he is completing his masters in architecture thesis project "Image of Domesticity Post Internet". Prior to creating Studio Ambiguous, Adam has worked at practices including Solomon Cordwell Buenz and DeOld Andersen Architects on a range of projects; these projects include high-rise luxury housing, university campus buildings, mixed use urban infill projects, ground up urban community parks, and urban farms. In his free time, if he has any, he devotes to Instagram adding creative hashtags for brutalist buildings. He also likes his cat Minka.
